The Aquinas High School girls tennis team will have three entries when the WIAA state tournament begins Thursday at the Nielsen Tennis Stadium in Madison.

Senior Giselle Fisher (16-10) and sophomore Fiona O’Flaherty (24-5) are in the Division 2 singles bracket, and seniors Maggie Burgmeier and Grace Smith (13-11) will compete in the doubles bracket. Their first-round matches will take place Thursday evening and night with the winners advancing to Friday afternoon’s second round.

West Salem senior Madison Dutton (15-6) and the Onalaska Luther doubles team of juniors Phoebe Christenson and Jenna Wahl (26-2) also qualified in Division 2.

Onalaska has junior Faith Leithold (21-9) competing in Division 1 singles and senior Lauren Garves and junior Chloe Leithold (22-8) competing in Division 1 doubles.

Logan’s Enya Szymanski (13-2) joins Leithold in the singles bracket, which competes Thursday morning. Garves and Leithold will play their first doubles match Thursday afternoon.
